Howard's Creek Volunteer Fire Department

Howard's Creek Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1964 by a handful of men within our small community in northern Lincoln County, North Carolina. We have since grown into a department that provides fire, rescue and medical first response to the citizens of the Howard's Creek Volunteer Fire Department district. With a roster of approximately 35 volunteer and paid staff members we are proud of our heritage, our members, and the services we provide.

Who Are We?

Our roster is made up of a dedicated group of men and women. Many of our members are second and third generation firefighters, continuing the legacy of commitment and pride that has carried our department throughout the last 50 years. Our firefighters strive to stay up-to-date with state and national training requirements, attending numerous training classes and conferences.
